DESCRIPTION

This low volume, front-drive coupe and convertible was manufactured in a highly specialized assembly program at the Reatta Craft Center (later known as the Lansing Craft Center) in Lansing, Michigan—achieving production of over 21,000 units in four years. However, only 238 convertibles were produced for sale in 1991.

This particular example was purchased directly from Buick in 1994 after service as an executive demo by Mr. Roy Spoth, their North American Marketing & Development Manager. After only two years and having driven it 334 miles, he sold it to former Dallas, Texas Mayor Jack Evans where it joined his multi-Reatta collection.

From there it passed to Chuck Parry in New York who kept it for the next two decades, keeping it in climate-controlled storage and earning several awards at Buick Club of America Nation Meets. The current owner purchased from Chuck in 2017 and has added approx. 1000 miles.

It has only been used in warm weather, has never been smoked in and of course is accident-free. Included in the sale is the original zippered owner's folio containing the manual, a pen, flashlight, tire gauge as well as the "Craftsman's Log" with signatures of the participants in the car's assembly. Other rare & desirable items include a Buick Fleet Manual, Service Manual, Product Manual, Press Information Manual, Reatta Color Guide, Reatta mission statement plaque from the factory, Reatta coffee mug and several 80's & 90's magazine articles.

If you're craving a Reatta convertible, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a well cared for and fully documented example.
