The 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe on offer here is a two-owner example with its stock 3.6 liter turbocharged flat-six engine and 24,593 miles from new. Purchased in 2014 by its current owner from Bruce Canepa, a major 30k mile service was performed in May of 2015 at a cost of over $10k and is detailed below. The car is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over Midnight Blue Supple Leather interior with optional color-matched 18″ Turbo Twist wheels. It is unmodified and has a clear bra in front and a CTEK trickle charger. It has been meticulously serviced by its current owner and the sale includes two years of service records, CARFAX report, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

The 993 Turbo was the first Porsche Turbo with all-wheel drive. This car's Midnight Blue Metallic (F8) paint is in very good condition, with two small cracks in the clear coat on the top of the front bumper being the only noticeable faults. The body panels are straight with aligned, factory-set gaps with no dents or dings.

CARFAX reports minor damage on the right rear of the car in 2004. The rear bumper was not affected by the damage, which was contained to the rear quarter panel. Canepa's restoration shop re-did the car's existing repairs to factory specs prior to selling it to the current owner in 2014. Canepa was not happy with the quality of the previous respray, so it was stripped and reshot. The rest of the paint appears to be original. A 3M clear bra has preserved the nose well with no major nicks or scratches apparent in the finish.

Staggered 18″ hollow-spoke Turbo Twist wheels have been factory painted to match the exterior as noted on the COA. Red brake calipers and optional Porsche crest rim caps provide a nice contrast to the dark blue.

The interior is well-optioned and in very good condition overall. All gauges, lights and power accessories, as well as the original factory head unit, function properly. Note the factory Porsche cell phone. Below is a list of interior options:

The Midnight Blue leather is in good shape with only minor wear evident on the driver's side bolsters.

The original 3.6 liter twin-turbocharged flat 6-cylinder engine sits in an extremely clean engine compartment, and was advertised as producing 402hp and 398 lb.ft. of torque when new. A 30k service was performed in May of 2015 and included removing and cleaning the intercooler and replacing the charge tubes. The pressure and brake fluid accumulators were replaced, and the brake fluid was flushed and changed. The gearbox and front differential were serviced, a new A/C condenser fan resistor was installed, and the car received a four-wheel alignment. The clutch accumulator was also replaced and the system was bled. The alternator's internal splines were repaired and all belts were replaced. While performing this service, the tech found that the ABS pump had leaked fluid onto the front of the trunk floor. The ABS pump and wiring were restored and repaired and the floor was refinished.

No service records exist prior to the current owner, who has kept service records dating to 9/14. Included in the sale are the original owner's manual, tools, keys, original window sticker, CARFAX, and Porsche COA.
