Classic, Plum Crazy Challenger
Originally born Burnt Orange with a 383 4-barrel, this special Challenger was completely restored with a color change to the more desirable Plum Crazy, while adding an original 1970 440ci nickel block. The motor's specs read like a who's who of specialty performance manufacturers...Keith Black pistons, Mopar rods, Edelbrock carb, the list goes on and on. Balanced & blueprinted, additional features include hardened valve seats, bronze guides and a 9.5:1 compression ratio so high octane fuel is not required. A new Classic A/C system tops it off and features an aluminum radiator to keep everything cool.
Many pages of receipts and pictures document the 2012 bare metal restoration that left no bolt untouched. The entire car was disassembled and the body taken down to bare metal. Any and all rust areas were repaired or replaced w/OEM replacement panels where necessary. All chrome trim is bright and dent-free. Overall, the paint & body remain in excellent condition as one would expect following the total restoration.
A treat for any Mopar muscle car fan, this classic Challenger looks the part while adding drivertrain updates & creature comforts that enhance enjoyment & comfort.
