Launched in '93, the Silver Spur III incorporated engine improvements and minor cosmetic updates over its predecessor, the Mark II. Its all aluminum 6.75L L410V8 featured increased power directed to the rear wheels via a 4-speed GM 4L80E automatic gearbox. Twenty-seven years ago, a well-equipped Rolls like this one would set you back in the neighborhood of $190,000, or more than $330,000 in today's dollars. This well maintained example is available for far less…
1994 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur III, Finished in its original factory color Magnolia, this SS III has covered just over 70,000 miles and is straight and rust-free. Paint is believed to be mostly original w/paint meter readings consistent across all panels w/the exception of the passenger rear door. Although no inconsistencies are noticeable, a higher than average reading on this panel suggests the door had paintwork at some point in its life. Otherwise, there are no dings and/or dents and the rubbers, badges and external fittings are excellent.
The Connolly leather interior is similarly finished in Magnolia w/contrasting piping and shows beautifully with only minor wear commensurate w/the car's mileage and age. All wood surfaces are in excellent condition and feature hand-finished, Boxwood inlays which contrast perfectly w/the burl wood veneers on the dash, doors & console.
The current owner recently commissioned a complete $5k+ service to address any items needing attention and all fluids were flushed and changed at this time. All systems and controls now function as designed and the car runs & drives as you'd expect.
This classic Rolls Royce features a level of quality and hand workmanship not likely to ever be seen again. Now is the time to take this opportunity and acquire a truly elegant motorcar without breaking the bank.
